Current status of the website
Request delivery is not yet switched on. Answers you enter are held in your browser only — your general location in local storage, and request details in session storage, which clears when you close the tab. When you enter a ZIP code or city, it is checked against a postal-code list on our own server to show your city and state; it is not stored or shared. Nothing else is sent to Home Service Pros Now or to any provider. This policy will be updated before any request is transmitted.
Approximate location
We may estimate your general area from your internet connection, using location information provided by our hosting network, to tailor page content. It is approximate, it does not indicate that a provider is available, and you can change it at any time.
How information will be used
Once requests are live, information you provide will be used to respond to your request, to share it with independent home-service professionals or partners who may be able to help with it, to operate and improve the website, and to meet legal obligations. Those professionals are independent businesses and handle information under their own policies.
Marketing messages
Home-maintenance tips, reminders and offers are sent only if you separately opt in. That choice is never pre-selected and is not required to request help. You can opt out at any time.
Campaign information
If you arrive from an advertisement, we may record campaign details from the link (such as the ad source and campaign name) so we can understand which advertising is useful.
